In May 2019, God called Deon and Tracey Chetty to step out from their denomination and establish an autonomous ministry in the city of Polokwane.
This calling gave birth to Apostolic Kingdom Ministry, which began as a midweek Bible study and soon grew into full Sunday services.
The ministry’s core mission is focused on making disciples, equipping believers to grow in their faith, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
What we believe
The AKM church firmly believes in the foundational truths of the Christian faith. We uphold the penal substitutionary atonement, affirming that Jesus Christ bore the penalty for our sins. We proclaim the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, His deity, and His virgin birth, acknowledging His miraculous ministry, His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and the promise of His literal bodily return. We worship a triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—recognizing the deity of the Holy Spirit and the profound unity within the Trinity. We believe in the attributes of God as revealed in Scripture, and we stand on the infallibility of God’s Word, trusting it as the ultimate authority. Salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith alone, through Christ alone, by His Word alone, and for His glory alone. We acknowledge humanity’s fallen state, contaminated by original sin and bearing the Adamic nature. We also affirm the truth of two natures (divine and human) in Christ, not two personalities, emphasizing His perfect unity
